This is the Kohler’s “Scenic Bar Hop” down the Scenic Highway, of course. We all had a fantastic time and after these 4 stops, we finished the night at the Doyle Lanai to recuperate from the day’s adventures.
First, we went to Manny’s Bar & Restaurant, not related to Manny’s Chophouse. This is a nice bar with a great layout. Beer and (like Plan B) wine based liquor? It used to be named “Golden Rays Tavern” after the old owners, Goldie & Ray. Check the undersea art.
Next, The G-Spot, a real biker bar. When we pulled up there were probably 50+ bikers there. There was no parking available, but we realized they were leaving, so we waited 5 minutes and listened to Dave’s long joke. When we looked, the bikers were all gone. We went in and found quite the place, a visit is needed by all! The server said the bikers were making a memorial run for a fallen soldier. Ask Ron about what he experienced in the bar.

Third today was “Al’s Place Restaurant” with $1.50 hotdogs and sliders on Saturday only. They close at 4:00pm each day. Great, all around food and Ron forgot to take pictures, well ok, he got one and grabbed one from Google Maps.
Carrie and her mom own and run Al’s (he’s been gone a while).
The final stop for the day was “Y’all Come Back Saloon.” Great inside and out. Beers and wines and good food (according to Dave & Kathy). Ron was stuffed, and Robin was on a liquid diet while visiting here. Rachel was a great bartender/server; although she asked Dave to call her Betsy?
