Donna and Lee got here on July 7, 2023 and left on the 11th. We ate and drank a lot. They went on their first bar hop since they were “young,” and they sang karaoke at Caribbean Bay (Lee, Donna, and Robin anyway; Ron was having a major sinus infection…or that was his excuse). We also visited Old Man Frank’s, Twisted Prop, Apple Lounge, ANKH 2 (for Lee’s Buffalo Trace), the Paddy Wagon, and finished off a couple at the Sweetwater Pub.
We all slept well after those few visits.
Update to 10/22/23
We returned to Paddy Wagon with the Huffs and two new friends, forgetting their names. But I also visited Grape Expectations, which was next door and had an exceptional wine list. You could take drinks back and forth between the two. For the first time in my life, I have had two intentional tabs running at the same time.
